Clarity ("we", "our" or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your data when you use the Clarity app and our services.

2. Data we collect

We may collect:

  • Account data: identifier, email, preferences (theme, default coach), and information you voluntarily provide (user context, constraints).
  • Usage data: interactions with coaches, frequency of use, features used, to improve the service and security.
  • Technical data: device type, operating system, technical identifiers necessary for operation and security.

3. Artificial intelligence processing

To provide coaching we use recognized providers: (1) Groq for voice transcription when you use voice input; (2) AI models (including technologies such as OpenAI) for reasoning and response generation. Content you send (text, transcripts) is processed only to deliver the service. We do not use it to train models on your personally identifiable data. Processing is carried out in accordance with security and privacy best practices.

4. Use of data

We use your data to: provide and personalize coaching; manage your account and subscriptions; improve the app; ensure security and legal compliance; contact you when necessary (support, legal information).

5. Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as required by law. You can request deletion of your account and associated data.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR and applicable laws (including for Apple users), you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data. The app does not communicate directly with AI models; all traffic goes through our secure servers.

8. Minors

The service is not intended for minors. We do not knowingly collect data relating to minors.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via the app or by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
